NANO Set to Rock EUROPE

The small car story is getting bigger as Nano generated immense excitement at the Geneva motor show and it seems the small wonder is going to be much in demand in Europe.

Ratan Tata has already outlined his global vision for the Nano saying that he would consider giving licenses to foreign car manufacturers to make it abroad.

A maddening crowd and much anticipation that greeted the small wonder in Geneva was not much different from the frenzy that Nano had generated when it first debuted at Delhi in January.

For Ratan Tata, it was the culmination of a dream which saw him deliver not just a people's car but also silence his critics, this time on the world stage.

Europe is already clamouring for the Nano and they are waiting that when would Europe get the car.

It is interesting to see that even though Tata had accounted for a huge demand when it started planning the Nano, the overwhelming response worldwide has meant that it might need to revise its deadlines and even consider other options like licensed manufacturing and franchise assembling as options.
